This is the unfortunate result of a battery pack becoming disconnected, This hydro belongs to our Vice President Rob Smith who had only run the boat once that day since refitting it with a 26cc Zenoah , " Not Nice ", we all feel the pain when this happens but Rob says she will  be ready to race again in 3-4 weeks , all running gear survived which was lucky as she hit scrub at 70-80 KPH .

This outrigger fitted out with a 26 Zenoah   proudly built by
Michael Johnson came to grief due to a faulty reciever
after its second run it hit the bank at 1/2 throttle

I was amazed how little damage ( although terminal )
it suffered , considering the impact , all i can say is "well made Johno ."

After
